Children
The messages will often refer to j2homework. This is accessible from the myUSO link on each set of Year Pages. Procedure to access j2homework and complete worksheets.
What is myUSO ? – myUSO is a secure gateway to a range of specially designed-for-schools, cloud-based resources and tools to help teaching, learning and administration around the school and beyond.
It contains links to the many resources that we have made available to your children. We recommend that all children always logon via myUSO in order to easily gain access to them.
These include:-
- j2homework – where much of the homework will be detailed.
- j2e (Just2easy) – an award winning software toolset designed for education. It contains creativity tools, apps and games for Maths, English, Computing and cross-curricular creative activities in a completely personalised learning experience.
- EducationCity – used by children and their teachers in over 75 countries around the world,
- Busythings –Award-winning numeracy, literacy and creative activities spanning Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2.

Parents
- Explore your child’s Year Group pages
- Look at any tasks and messages that have been posted up for your child’s Year Group
- Get your children to show you the systems they’re using and let them share their work with you.
- You can contact the class teacher about the work using the email address on the Year Group pages.
Your child has their own login and password which has been sent home in their homework book.
- If your child has forgotten their myUSO login (USO ) or password their class teacher can provide them with a reminder.
- Their USO will be in the form:-
- first four letters of their surname, first letter of their christian name, three digit number then ‘.320’
- so ‘Peter Jones’ could become: jonep111.320
